Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information RxMastery collects, what it is used for, where it is kept and how you can have it corrected or deleted. It is written to be read, not skimmed: if anything here is unclear, write to hello@rxmastery.lk and we will answer plainly.

Who is responsible

RxMastery, an independent examination-practice service operated from Sri Lanka (“RxMastery”, “we”). RxMastery is not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for any examination authority. Questions about this policy and requests about your information go to hello@rxmastery.lk.

What we collect

• Wait-list: your email address, the time you joined, and whether you have unsubscribed. Nothing else is asked for.
• Account: your name, email address, an optional mobile number, and a password stored only as a one-way hash that nobody, including us, can read back.
• Exam activity: which mocks you start, the answers you save, your scores, timing, and any feedback you choose to leave.
• Technical records: server logs with IP address, browser type, request time and an error reference, kept to run the service securely and to investigate problems.

We do not collect national identity numbers, examination registration numbers, employer details or examination documents, and we do not ask for them.

What we use it for

• Emailing wait-list members about the RxMastery launch and new mock exams, only after you tick the consent box, and only until you unsubscribe.
• Creating and securing your account, signing you in, and sending the emails an account needs, such as sign-up links and password resets.
• Running mock exams: saving answers, scoring, and showing you results and explanations.
• Improving the service, using counts of how people move through it. Email addresses, answers and passwords are never put into analytics.
• Keeping the service safe: detecting abuse, fixing faults and meeting legal obligations.

Consent and your choices

Launch and mock-exam emails are sent only with your consent, given by ticking the box on the wait-list form. Every such email carries an unsubscribe link, and you can also unsubscribe by emailing hello@rxmastery.lk. Account emails, such as password resets, are sent because you asked for them.

Where your information lives

RxMastery runs on Amazon Web Services in the Asia Pacific (Mumbai) region, with data stored in a PostgreSQL database controlled by us. Email is delivered through Resend, an email delivery provider, which processes your address and the message content in order to send it. We do not sell personal information and do not share it with anyone else, except where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

• Wait-list details: until you unsubscribe or ask for deletion, after which the address is removed within 30 days.
• Account and exam activity: for as long as your account exists. Ask for deletion and the account and its activity are removed within 30 days.
• Technical logs: 90 days, unless a log is needed to investigate a security incident.

Your rights

You can ask what information we hold about you, have it corrected, have it deleted, or withdraw your consent to emails at any time. We handle personal information in line with Sri Lanka’s Personal Data Protection Act, No. 9 of 2022. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@rxmastery.lk from the address on your account; we will reply within 14 days.

Cookies

The public pages set no cookies. Signing in sets one session cookie that keeps you signed in and is deleted when you sign out or the session expires. We use no advertising or analytics cookies.

Children

RxMastery is for pharmacy examination candidates and is not directed at anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal information, write to hello@rxmastery.lk and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. A change that affects how we use your information is also announced by email to wait-list members and account holders before it takes effect.
